PROUD MOMENT TO SEE YOUNG GIRLS TURNING INTO PROFESSIONALS
The project aims at providing opportunities to the less resourceful kids living in and around Gujarat. Our attempt also includes providing a safe and healthy environment to children, so that they can openly share with us the challenges they face that hold them back from aspiring their dreams.
We help our kids discover their true potentials and motivate them in pursuing their goals. We provide them with the necessary skill development training.
Project Challenges
More often than not, women are percieved to the idea of running a home instead of stepping out and earning.They are not given a platform to showcase their skills or earn a livelihood for themselves.
The women face mindset related issues as they come from a conservative background.
Lack of support from their family makes it difficult for them to attend classes regularly.
They shoulder family responsibilities from a very early age, leaving them less time to develop their skills and make a career.
Results & Outcome
It is a proud moment to see our kids grow up to be Professionals, especially girls who can overcome social taboos and stand on their own feet.
Usha from our Shwas Gulbai Tekra centre undertook the Beauty Parlor course last year and now she is a professional.
From good Civic values to Education and Employable skills - We strive to provide good citizens to the nation.

Shwas is an effort started by a group of volunteers to educate the underprivileged kids of Gulbai Tekra, Ahmedabad since year 2009. We attempt to provide safe and healthy environment to children coming from disadvantaged families, so that they can openly share with us the challenges they face that hold them back from aspiring their dreams.
