Project Implementation Plan
The Karmakonnect team is overwhelmed with the love and respect received in Telangana Rural / Tribal villages across Nirmal and Nalgonda districts.
In spite of economic hardships sub-standard infrastructure and little livelihood opportunities, the residents have a welcoming smile and are hoping for help in developing health, education, and facilities.
KarmaKonnect has adopted few villages in Nalgonda district and Nirmal Tribal areas. We aim to assist these villages with education, infrastructure, and water-related issues.
Through the Grameen Support Foundation, a detailed study of rural education and health care has been conducted.
In order avoid situations mentioned as above, we brought a system of Digital Class Room Education where students can visualize the videos related to their class room syllabus. Visual learning had a great impact on their minds rather than convention learning methods. Apart from this we added Analytics to be part of this digital class room solution to assess the students at various levels to get ready them for improving their lacking areas .
Project Challenges
Getting techology to the rural areas is a big challenge as strong resources are required.
It becomes an issue to get the rural population to get adapted to technology and accept it.
Awareness of such plans and its implementation is a huge task as the people are not receptive to new ideas easily.
Lots of students had been irregular and failing classes. They perceived education as a tool to promote themselves to upper class and not for subjective knowledge. As a result, there was no quality of knowledge and this mindset had to be changed.
Results & Outcome
- Developed Toilets at the Singupuram tribal village school and Jerhi B village Tanoor Mandal, Nirmal dist. Telangana.
- Trained and Provided employment to 10 rural area students in IT industry.
- Conducted Road safety program in rural areas and distributed 40,000 road safety rules pamphlets to the village people, on the occasion of Independence day.
- Distributed worth of 50,000 INR medical first aid kits in government schools.
- Conducted Career Guidance programs and motivated around 4000 tribal area students .

KarmaKonnect is a non-profit social venture that aims to connect the fragmented ‘giving’ ecosystem by empowering NGOs, donors, volunteers, corporates and government to create impactful social development interventions. KarmaKonnect is an enabler; motivating and empowering individuals and organizations to tap the growing philanthropy landscape by creating, connecting, and/or collaborating for credible projects and causes. The KarmaKonnect team is currently involved in a number of initiatives across the country, through various dedicated volunteers and NGOs. We are primarily working on:
• Child education and livelihood skills (slum evening schools/shelters and aiding low income govt schools) in Gujarat, Telangana, MP and Delhi through utilization of existing govt infrastructure and innovative collaborative models.
• Women Empowerment and legal help, rescue and rehabilitation projects (primarily on Gujarat and UP)
• Rural Empowerment and Citizens Change/Awareness programs (Gujarat, MP, UP, Telangana and Rajasthan).
• We also Executing comprehensive "adopt a village" projects for donors involving well researched sustainable solutions for development
• Training and placement of specially abled
• Refuge rehabilitation projects. (Urban slums)
• Adhoc Medical help and assistance as needed.
